The Village of Highland Park is a small municipality located between Lake Wales and Frostproof along the Ridge Scenic Highway in Polk County, Florida. Highland Park includes approximately 500 acres of land and two lakes – Lake Amoret and Lake Easy. Although development of the community began in 1919, the Village of Highland Park was incorporated in 1927. Today, there are still fewer than 300 residents. The friendly atmosphere and a high level of interest in civic affairs makes Highland Park a great place to live.

Commission Meetings

The Village Commission meets bi-monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM starting in January each year. Meetings take place at the Village of Highland Park Office, 1650 Highland Park Drive North, Lake Wales, FL 33898, located at the base of the water tower.
